It is important to retain as much of the original fabric as possible so we begin by examining the window to see if servicing alone will solve your sash window problems. Where rot is present and beyond simple filler repairs we assess what is needed to reinstate the structural integrity and correct function of the window. In most cases it is necessary to cut out the infected sections and splice in timber replacements.

Typical cost for structual repairs are as follows:

Replacing complete rotting cills - from £180.00 + VAT

Replace centre sections of sills only - from £120.00 + VAT

Broken or rotted sliding sash frames - from £195.00 +VAT

Sash box repairs - from £35 per hour inc. materials (typically 1.5 hours) + VAT

Replacement of broken or cracked glass (on serviced windows only) - from £35 plus materials +VAT

The repair and replacment service is normally only available within a 40 mile radius of the workshop and only when we are servicing 4 or more windows at the same property. (Cheltenham, Stroud, Bristol, and other local areas).
